The manual side-lay safety chucks provide for precise positioning of winding or unwinding material rolls. A simple hand-wheel adjustment repositions the material roll laterally. Standard models allow for side-lay position of approximately 1″. Two models are now available. The 952/KLL medium duty model is designed for material roll weights up to 4400 lbs. at speeds to 600 RPM. The heavy duty Model 952/KLP accommodates roll weights to 8000 lbs. with speeds up to 1500 RPM. Both models are available in foot and flange mounting styles.
